Psychological Therapy.
We offer a range of psychological therapies for the treatment of mental health problems. For most of us, we predominantly use Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, which looks at the relationship between how people think, feel, and behave. We also use a number of different treatment approaches which are matched to the needs of the individual, including:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Mindfulness-based Therapies
Compassion-Focussed Therapy
We work with young adults, through adults, and older adults, and work predominantly on a one-to-one basis.
Our Clinical Psychologists.
All our clinical psychologists have spent a number of years at university and have a either a Masters Degree or a Doctorate (PhD) in Psychology, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology. We are all registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board and are members of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists.
As a group we like to keep up-to-date with the latest developments in clinical psychology so we meet regularly for peer review, as well as attending local and international workshops and conferences.
