Natasha de Faria
Clinical Psychologist.
Natasha is a clinical psychologist registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board, and is a member of the New Zealand College of Clinical Psychologists. She provides psychological therapy for individuals and clinical supervision for professionals. Natasha has extensive experience using cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness-based interventions, as well as an expanding practice in the compassion focussed therapies.
Natasha’s areas of interest and experience are in working with:
· Anxiety
· Depression
· Obsessions and compulsions
· Perinatal and postnatal concerns
· Adjustment difficulties
· Self-esteem and self-confidence issues
· Stress/burnout
· Building resilience and wellbeing
· Psychosocial support of those in helping professions (doctors, nurses, aid workers)

Natasha completed her undergraduate training at Massey University (BA). She went on to complete a Master of Arts with an endorsement in Clinical Psychology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology, also at Massey University. She has been qualified as a clinical psychologist since 2004.
Natasha has a wide range of clinical experience having worked in adult community mental health at Counties Manukau District Health Board for 6 years, before going on to work in the Centre for Psychology at Massey University for 7 years. Natasha has also worked in private practice for the past 12 years.
Natasha works on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Pollen Street Practice.
